SIZE & FIT GUIDE

Eclipse Optics eyewear is designed to be one-size-fits-all. This means that our eyewear should fit most head sizes. In an effort to prevent disappointment with the ordering process and keep our customers happy, we've created the below sizing guide to help you understand how our glasses are sized and how to ensure they will fit your head.

MEASURE THE FRAME

This is the frame. It is measured from one end to the next (red line). It may also be useful to measure the length between the two hinge/temple screws.

The "bridge" is the area between the lens, where the frame rests on the nose.

Glasses size

Some glasses models will include the measurements of the glasses. The first number or combination of letters and numbers is the model number. Following that, the lens width, bridge width (nose), and temple length.

LENS WIDTH & HEIGHT

The lens size is measured as depicted in the image to the left.

TEMPLE LENGTH

The length from where the arm intersects with the frame

PRO TIPS

Choose a frame that is just a bit wider than your face, with no more than a finger's width of space between the temple and your face. If the space is larger, the frames are likely too wide.

Your eyes should be centered in your lenses. If your glasses are too wide, they'll make your eyes look too close together. On the flip side, frames that are too narrow can give your eyes a wide-set appearance.
